Below is my revisited version of Paper 2, a research assignment I wrote on the scholarly conversation around archives and colonialism. While writing the paper, I was struck by the way missing and misrepresented archives impacted a people’s ability to define themselves and how it impacted the outsider’s view on the group of people the archives document.
